First aid training from someone who's been there.
viio was set up by a former ambulance service professional with more than ten years' experience teaching first aid, to make life-saving skills something everyone can learn.
Real emergencies. Real workplaces. Real experience.
Before setting up viio, I worked in the ambulance service, so I know first-hand what happens in those first few minutes, and how much difference a calm, confident first aider can make before help arrives.
I've been teaching first aid for more than ten years. I've also run businesses myself: I was previously a director of a training company, and I'm currently a director of a construction company specialising in commercial flooring and tiling.
That means I understand workplaces from the inside, from offices to building sites. I know the pressures you're under, the time you can spare for training, and what your team actually needs to be ready for.
“What you do in the first few minutes can change everything. Every viio course is built around giving people the confidence to act.”
Life-saving skills should be for everyone.
Engaging, not a tick-box
Hands-on, practical and relevant. People remember what they've practised, so that's where most of the time goes.
Fully inclusive
Anyone can do our courses. We adapt how we teach so every learner can take part and feel confident, whatever their background or ability.
Skills for everyone
From workplaces to schools, parents to community groups, we want life-saving skills to be available to as many people as possible.
Built on real experience
Every scenario is grounded in front-line emergency care, so what you learn reflects what really happens.
The same qualification. A more personal experience.
Our qualifications are fully accredited and kept in line with current HSE first aid guidance and health and safety regulations. Your certificate is exactly the same qualification you'd receive from larger, better-known training organisations.
The difference is who's teaching it. When you train with viio, you're supporting an independent business built by someone with real experience of front-line emergency care.
- Fully accredited qualifications
- In line with current HSE guidance
- The same certificate as the big providers
- Taught by someone who's done it for real
